Special Effects
We use various special effects
techniques for our montage and photos, some of which are illustrated
here. In this example, we've taken the
full blood line of relatives from a Family Tree and made a collage
to include the meaning of their surname and finished with a
co-ordinating frame. In the second one, we've framed a wedding
photograph and added bubbles with a superimposed image of the couple
in the large bubble.

Layers
A layering technique is
used to create most of our special effect DVD covers. Layers
comprise images stacked on top of each other with masked
edges to blend into the overall image. These are
particularly effective to superimpose key elements from your
special occasion to produce a unique representation of your
day. Here are some of our previous projects: |

Selective Colourisation
This technique is becoming
increasingly popular, especially for wedding and christenings. It
involves converting a colour photograph to black and white. We then
create an opaque layered mask to selectively paint specific areas in
colour. Using a high transparency, the end result looks natural,
rather than air-brushed. Here's one of our latest examples:
Photo Montage
Photo Montage
is a collection of photographs joined together to create a unique
masterpiece using a layered technique. This is particularly popular for our
Wedding DVD cover designs where the bride and groom select a number of
photographs and ask us to create a lasting memory of their special day.
